The Dry Needling Plus Level 2 course is a progression of assessment and treatment for Physiotherapists, Manual Therapists or Acupuncturists with formal training in Dry Needling or Acupuncture who wish to expand their knowledge and skills in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.
This course can be completed immediately following the Dry Needling Plus Level 1 course if you desire. We have found participants that complete the Level 2 course immediately following the Dry Needling Plus Level 1 finish the course with skills as good as participants that have left time in between the courses.
The Dry Needling Plus Level 1 course is an essential pre-requisite for this course.
You will utilise five effective needling techniques not taught in any other Dry Needling course in Australia and their application into clinical practice. This approach addresses many of the limitations of established dry needling practice by differentiating between a variety of needling techniques and applying them to specific changes identified in the tissue with skilled palpation and logical, range based physical assessment.
Practitioners who have completed Traditional Acupuncture training and would like to integrate it further into manual therapy, and improve their musculoskeletal results will benefit from this course, however must also complete the Dry Needling Plus Level 1 course first.
To be eligible to attend this course, the Dry Needling Plus Level 1 must have been completed.
Pregnant women are unable to attend Dry Needling Plus courses. Please do not enrol in this course if you are pregnant.
As with all Clinical Edge courses, massage therapists are NOT eligible to enrol on this course. The only eligible practitioners are Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors and Sports Doctors.
